You Know You're A Mom of a Terrible Sleeper When...

You know you're a mom of a terrible sleeper when:
  • If you are lucky enough to get any "extra" sleep, you can barely function. You might even get a headache.
  • When your husband wants to watch a movie with you at night, you start calculating in your head when you'll get to bed...based on the length of the movie and how many times your child might wake up.
  • You laugh to your self when parents of newborns complain that their baby isn't sleeping through the night yet. If they only knew.
  • You tell yourself, "This won't last forever. Some day I'll complain that he's sleeping too long or sleeping in too late."

  1. Katie, I SWEAR this too shall pass!! :-) You will one of these days wonder why they are sleeping to long. Hopefully it's BEFORE he's a teenager.

  2. I am so sorry! I guess I was lucky in the sleep department because my son has been sleeping through the night since he was around 5 months old. He needs and wants his 12 hours of solid sleep every night. I guess I shouldn't complain anymore that he only takes one nap during the day.

Hope it gets better! Good luck to you.
